A sound bath is a meditative experience in which attendees are “bathed” in sound waves. These sound waves are produced by healing instruments, such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, and even the human voice itself.
The goal of a sound bath is to give your brain a chance to “let go” for a while, heal, and rest. In addition, to help your body to relax, sound baths may help you unblock energy through various frequencies of the sounds you experience.
Marianne is a highly sought-after yoga professional with a passion for helping students reduce stress and cultivate a calm, nurturing environment. As a busy mom of three young children, she understands that in order to be active and powerful in life, one must slow down and rest.
At Mo-Mentum Fitness we teach that recovery is as important as training hard to strengthen and challenge our bodies. Our sound baths are the perfect opportunity to be accountable and challenge yourself to lay still for a while and allow the surrounding sounds to guide us to rest and heal our mind and body.
