Rise and shine…….it’s time to take on the day. Now that you’re up, it’s time to focus on the most important meal of the day, breakfast. You may be a person who spends very little or no time and thought on what you are going to eat in the morning. Some of you may skip breakfast all together. This is a big mistake, especially when you’re trying to lose fat.
You need to eat breakfast within an hour of waking up to rev up your body engines so you burn fat throughout your day. Eating breakfast (fueling up in the morning) increases your over all energy and your ability to focus too! Chose a breakfast that is balance between protein, a small amount of healthy fat and a small amount of complex carbohydrates. This will keep your blood sugar levels stable and provide you with the top of the line fuel for your day. You will find that you have less cravings and more energy throughout your day, especially if you continue to fuel your body with a balance of protein, good fats and complex carbs in small meals every 3 to 4 hours throughout your day.
