Picture a small but mighty ball of energy, a bright light, a women with positive, vibrant energy, and amazing friend, a woman who continues to live a healthy, life free of limitations, someone that you just want to be around because she always makes you smile and you will picture Sue Goldberg! A true superhero! This sexy GiGi has been working part of the Mo-Mentum Fitness family for the more than six years, has dropped more than 40 pounds and has won more Challenges than anyone at Mo-Mentum. Sue doesn’t miss her workouts because she is on a mission to live a vibrant, happy, and impactful life.On a recent vacation, Sue did a cartwheel! She had been afraid of doing a cartwheel for some time, but the idea of being able to do a cartwheel as a grandma and breaking past self perceived limitations was just too much for Sue to pass up and she cartwheeled (possibly not a verb but I’m sure it can be found in the Urban dictionary! hehehe!) with no problem at all! Sue credits her trainers at Mo-Mentum Fitness for her cartwheel success-but we say to that, “That’s just how we roll! We provide the tools, Sue did the work!” What a partnership!
Q & A
How long have you worked out at Mo-Mentum Fitness?
I have been working out with Amanda since 2011 and have followed her everywhere since.
Why did you start working out with Mo-Mentum Fitness?
I saw myself in a picture of when we went to Ireland and decided I needed to change things up! I started working out at Mo-Mentum because Amanda was there. I follow her like a little puppy. I started working out in 2008 with another trainer and she sent me to Amanda. I am so grateful for that.
How has working out with Mo-Mentum Fitness impacted your life?
It has kept me on the right track. I love going there and the comradeship.
What is your advice for a healthy life?
Keep challenging yourself to achieve goals and conquer your fears. As they say in the Nike add “Just Do It”. Stay active and you will always stay young in mind and body.
What is your favorite healthy snack?
My favorite healthy snack is apple slices and almond butter. I like something fast and easy.
What health/fitness goal are you most proud of achieving?
Initially it was losing 40 pounds. But, now I think it is having a clean bill of health every time I have a physical. My blood pressure and all of my important tests results are great. I attribute this to regular exercise and eating healthy..
How has working out helped you in other areas of life?
It keeps me focused. When I am not at the gym I am doing something physical every day whether it is hiking, biking, kayaking, dancing or swimming. I have more energy to complete what needs to be done and enjoy life. I am physically fit to do what I enjoy and that is to be outdoors and stay active. There are so many of my friends that don’t work out and they can’t enjoy certain activities.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Thank you Mo-Mentum and Amanda for all that you have done for me. You won’t be able to get rid of me, even when I am in my 90’s. Hopefully, I will be able to walk out on my own 2 feet.
Ohhhh, there is NO doubt in my mind that Sue Goldberg is going to be on her feet and living her life to the absolute fullest way past her 90’s!
Congrats, Sue……You are an inspiration, and incredible friend, wife, daughter, mother, Gigi and definitely a Superhero!
